SNICKERS desperately needs a place to call home.  She was found lying in a yard in January, almost dead.  The people took her in and called Rescue.  She was very ill with an upper respiratory infection, ear infection, and hookworms.  There was almost no muscle mass in her rear legs and they were very weak.  She has come a long way thanks to medical treatment and good nutrition.  He rear legs are strong again and she is enjoying life.  The only remnant of her illness is an occasional cough which, hopefully, will disappear with time.

 

Snickers is estimated to be 8-10 years old.  She is very sweet and loving with people and gets along with other dogs.  She has received all her booster vaccinations, and is ready for a quiet home of her own now.  If you would like to let Snickers enjoy her golden years with you, please contact Rescue at 412-364-5742.
